Guess I'm Doing Fine- Beck |
] |
So, eljay. Haven't been here in awhile.
I don't like you very much anymore. We're kinda breaking up. It's not you, it's me. I'll still check in from time to time, you're just not the future for me anymore.
I hope you understand.
Love Always, James Gregory

I have a feeling.
'07 just might be the best year in the history of the world.
It's just a feeling.

Rent- Out Tonight( I just heard it on a commercial) |
] |
Harry Potter was good. I haven't read the book since 6th grade, so I was able to take it at movie value, and I enjoyed it. Well...I enjoyed what I didn't sleep through, which contrary to popular belief, is most of it.
Well, I'm leaving(Birmingham) on a jet plane(to Philadelphia). Don't know(Tuesday)when I'll be back again.
Crazy how lyrics just fit your current situation, isn't it? Thanks, John Denver.

I was going to see Rent tomorrow night, but that was before it was actually tonight.I'm seeing the 'ole Harry Potter tomorrow night. Then it's off to Philly for a few days. I really hope that trip isn't as depressing as I think that it's going to be.
Oh well. AP History is calling me. I wish it would stop.

Ben Folds- In Between Days |
] |
So, that concert was amazing. He played for a solid two hours, and in that time played anything I could've asked for. Bastard, Jesusland, Disco Jesusland,The Luckiest,Bitches Ain't Shit, Brick, The Last Polka,Annie Waits, Philosophy(the best one of the night, if you ask me),Gone,Too Late,One Angry Dwarf(and two hundred Solemn Faces),Zak and Sara, Still Fighting It, Where's Summer B?,Not the Same,Army,You To Thank, Trusted, and many more that I can't remember right now. But anyway.....picture time!
( Ben Folds=amazing )
Last night I was reminded that "The Luckiest" is one of the most amazing songs ever written. I can't stop listening to it.

So I think study sessions at Panera Bread, even if not for AP History, should now be a once a week thing. Cristina and I are starters of a trend.
I've also decided that I'm going to pull a Jake Bridges and audition for the National High School Cast of Thoroughly Modern Millie.
I love singing the song "Someone to Fall Back On".

It's two weeks 'till Ben Folds.
And to a lesser extent, the Birthday of J.Huynh. She was probably born on that day to see Ben Folds. It's like a calling.
School has shifted into what I can only describe as a "post homecoming lull", meaning...back to normal.
So, it's Halloween. Anyone remember last year when we got those Jesus halloween cards instead of candy at that one house? And Halloween Carolling? Oh well, I think I'm just going to mooch off Eric this year.
Those damn Psychology papers are calling.

Vince Guaraldi Trio- Christmas is Coming |
] |
Charlie Brown Christmas is the best cd ever. It's the only thing I've been listening to all day. Thanks to that, I'm convinced it's December, nevermind that Halloween is tomorrow.
Keith actually gave me a compliment after rehearsal, it took me off guard.
The Nativity scene is most definitely back in the Christmas show. Ah, so many memories. I hope they have presents on the side again. And maybe we can convince them to write a joke about Savs passing out and destroying them. I thought about that last month at Grand Night for Singing and started laughing my ass off. Brilliant times, my friends, brilliant times.
I miss them.
I said this on the way out of rehearsal to Andrew: it's really happy (well not for Savs) things like that that everyone remembers from last year, not everything that people bitched about at the time.

Well...shit...
Oak Mountain Class of '07 rocks big time. At the middle school we still have 5 of the 7 big pictures for accomplishments in the gym.
And also: hmmmmm, interesting....
I love vague posts where only I know what I'm talking about.

Vince Guaraldi Trio- Christmas Time Is Here |
] |
I was thinking about this, for lack of better things to do tonight, and I think that my two favorite Christmas songs are:
1)Christmas Time Is Here- Vince Guaraldi Trio 2)Baby It's Cold Outside
The first one simply because it's so simple, the second because it will always remind me of my first year in SPE.
D-pop's right. If we all listened to Christmas music throughout the year, the world would be a happier place.

Alright, so I have a dilemma of sorts.
I can't decide my Trumbauer song.
The choices are:
1)If I Didn't Believe In You- The Last Five Years 2)How Glory Goes- Floyd Collins
Right now it's 3 to 0 in favor of "If I Didn't Believe In You".
Everyone vote if you know these songs.

Why don't we do it in the road? Why don't we do it in the road? Why don't we do it in the road? Why don't we do it in the road? Why don't we do it in the road? No one will be watching us.... Why don't we do it in the road?
Jon Stewart going against Bill O'Reilly is probably the best thing ever.
What a bastard.
